Amsagirl stuff & beyond

October 27, 2009 · 3 Comments

Today morning i logined in a new portal to post some hand made, painted items and chose this name for the avatar: Amsagirl. Hamsa is actually a body part or better a small nut that cannot be seen because it is covered by our skin&meat at the junction between the nose and the forehead. This is a crucial point, which also gives a crucial personality in the proper cases, when it is not spoiled.

On Sunday i also spent more than five hours making earrings, they came out intricated, with patterns and colors combinations never used before. But before that, i had to divide the real crystals swarosky from the fake ones (imitations), the glass beads from the plastic ones, the wooden from the clay and so on. It took me about two of the five hours to discriminate and order (and it didnt finished completely yet): in fact all the compartments of the beads-boxes were under quite a chaotic movement.

DSCF0844

Thru this discrimination not only the bad anti-ecological beads were distinguished from the good environmental friendly ones and viceversa but also the different shapes were noticed, the colors, the materials and all together a neat inspiration resulted into a new beautiful earring design. So discrimination is a must, all in all. Without it, all the work can be also done but it will be a full waste and of no use for anybody, the designer and the  ones in love with fashionable designs in this case sample. And above all for the divine that loves accurate sort of design.

How much childlike is the soul of folks involved in toy industry

October 6, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Working with toys is one of the most exciting  and creative thing.  Behind each design and project it is moving a vibrant mixture of  all the qualities enclosed into a child himself. Infact toys are directed to children and they are created for their evolution and wellbeing, fun and growth. Nowaday the attention towards children’s positive maturation is becoming  bigger and bigger. All parents and educators want to put their best effort to give a life of great quality to their children. What is great quality? The answer is easy. Like the seven basical musical notes do re mi fa sol la si do create wonderful melodies and songs, at the same way these seven qualities create  a wonderful lifepath.

And to have them expanding from inside out will enable anybody to develop the best stuff for any child.

  • innocence
  • creativity
  • dharma
  • love
  • collectivity
  • balance
  • joy

Last year i experienced a couple of seminars in toy exhibitions  directed to foster connections between all kinds of folks involved in making toys at different levels, also from different countries. When listening to their speeches i was wondering how truly childlike is their nature.

How pure fun breaks down seriousness ‘nd misunderstandings

September 8, 2009 · 2 Comments

This is fabulous. It is the very first thing why i like China. But not only. This is an example for eveybody, whereva you are. Misunderstandings in our relationships and development processes always accompany us daily. Misunderstandings based on cultural or linguistic stuff, all kinds of things, human brain wants to be fooled by misunderstandings in general. A lot of them come from taking things seriously. Anything: ourself first, then people, places, situations. But i have seen those people who are really elevated personalities, for them joking is so essential. Yesterday i watched a old dvd (2007) of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi receiving people, or better the sahaja yogis, to Her home. The way She was joking, so often joking and having fun with them, so much laughing about people or gifts or the environment. A real sparkling concentrate of Life & Love. An ocean of pure Fun. Pure joy. When seriousness comes immediately the fun will break it down to a balanced point. The magic people know how to do that. Just like Shri Mataji.

Other people realized from inside, sometimes they are excellent artists and they have the ability to speak to our souls thru their creations. The way they come into interaction is just joy. All misunderstandings run away, all seriousness is lost forever…

Enlightened Policy in government

July 21, 2009 · 1 Comment

one

It is not too difficult today to reach balance. Just following these simple advices from Laotsi – the Chinese primordial master- will make it even simpler. We are reaching a point in society where we dont miss anything material nor spiritual, everything is so clearly disclosed in front of our eyes and the minds work much more open than before (but if you get meditative you go faster) . Now if desires are kept on a low level it will happen something incredible that there are no words to explain it. i dont even know how to write it. But this is the key for any kind of policy today. the only requirements are the right men. They have to be brave and cool; they have to belong to some sort of another race, another kind of personality which is different and it is not really easy to find, but they exist for sure. Because now we have everything and everyOne on this planet. It’s Amazing.

Laotsi’s proposal is really interesting and original, it’s not just something empty or meaningless or old. It’s so modern and can meet a win-to-win elaboration. Very smart application. Very new and so useful.

If those who are excellent find no preferment,

the people will cease to contend for promotion.

If goods that are hard to obtain are not favored,

the people will cease to turn robbers or bandits.

If things much desired are kept under cover,

disturbance will cease in the minds of the people.

The Wise Man’s policy, accordingly,

will be to empty people’s hearts and minds,

to fill their bellies , weaken their ambition,

give them sturdy frames and always so,

to keep them uninformed, without desire,

and knowing ones not venturing to act.

Be still while you work

and keep full control

over all.

Give Thanks & Enjoy Life

July 14, 2009 · Leave a Comment

po6

by Chief Oren Lyons

Two things were told to us: one was to be thankful, so we built nations around it, and you can do that. And the other thing was enjoy life. That’s a rule, a law. Enjoy life. You’re supposed to. You can only do as much as you can do and then when you do that, you’re supposed to get outside and enjoy life.

…And an extract of his speech at UN in New York in 1993

Our societies are based upon great democratic principles of the authority of the people and equal responsibilities for the men and the women. This was a great way of life across this Great Turtle Island and freedom with respect was everywhere. Our leaders were instructed to be men of vision and to make every decision on behalf of the seventh generation to come; to have compassion and love for those generations yet unborn. We were instructed to give thanks for All That Sustains Us.

Thus, we created great ceremonies of thanksgiving for the life-giving forces of the Natural World, as long as we carried out our ceremonies, life would continue. We were told that `The Seed is the Law.’ Indeed, it is The Law of Life. It is The Law of Regeneration. Within the seed is the mysterious force of life and creation. Our mothers nurture and guard that seed and we respect and love them for that. Just as we love I hi do’ hah, our Mother Earth, for the same spiritual work and mystery.

We were instructed to be generous and to share equally with our brothers and sisters so that all may be content. We were instructed to respect and love our Elders, to serve them in their declining years, to cherish one another. We were instructed to love our children, indeed, to love ALL children. We were told that there would come a time when parents would fail this obligation and we could judge the decline of humanity by how we treat our children.

We were told that there would come a time when the world would be covered with smoke, and that it would take our elders and our children. It was difficult to comprehend at the time, but now all we have to do is but to walk outside to experience that statement. We were told that there would come a time when we could not find clean water to wash ourselves, to cook our foods, to make our medicines, and to drink. And there would be disease and great suffering. Today we can see this and we peer into the future with great apprehension. We were told there would come a time when, tending our gardens, we would pull up our plants and the vines would be empty. Our precious seed would begin to disappear. We were instructed that we would see a time when young men would pace back and forth in front of their chiefs and leaders in defiance and confusion.

There are some specific issues I must bring forward on behalf of our Nations and Peoples.

(full speech)

Electronic learning games & toys are not crucial for infants development

July 9, 2009 · 2 Comments

 12

It is such an exageration of this materialistic minds scattered all around toy industry today that electronic lightning rattles are beneficial to a child development. It is fine for a kid to have one electronic toy ever year, just to have some taste of this light-flashing, spinning-sounds environment a lot of us are plugged in, and with them plenty of modern families too. But it is really eveident that these toys are not at all crucial for the development of the core values and qualities that a child requires in order to be a good and wise gifted man or woman in the future of their real life. Recently, when during a medical conference here in Poly University of Hong Kong i had the opportunity to share some insights from a psychological and evolutionary point of view with the lecturing doctor about these toys , i was not surprsed at all when he said that these tools can have damaging effect on the optical chiasm of the little brains. It means that their development will proceed in a slower not balanced way:  the opposite of what many managers in toy industry trust nowadays.

Adding a couple of considerations collected on a base of three years work as game editor in Chinese toy industry and on a base of master training in developmental and educational psychology and on a base of past two years teaching at primary school. It is all connected :)

  • Educationally motivated societies now like to stress enlightenment contents as their curriculum. Electronic learning games today are so much lacking in lifting spirits of children up that they only transmit mediocre learning messages.
  • Love is always the master key to a fulfilling learning and educational process. I always wonder at which level is this nourishing love intentionally sent thru these products?

2009, before and after: Time for sobriety is becoming a reality

December 20, 2008 · 2 Comments

gift

Isnt it? With all the things we are reading and hearing about economy & co now now now it is definitely arrived the call for sobriety.

Communication is becoming simpler and if you are smart at heart you will know whether  you are crossing or staying inside the boundary of the most pleasant conversation which is the one which turn sparkes of the joy on within the person in front of you, leaving her/him different from before the same conversation happened.

Giving present for celebrating core values and festivities is becoming such an easygoing act! People accept everything with open mind and focus on the mood of giving & receiving which is vibrating the material gift itself.

In these days here in the South of Europe, almost in Africa!, i am listening amazing conversations between common people who are showing a terrific common sense filled with enlightenment and understanding of the world we now live in. i am totally all ears and my brain is reacting with positive waves of bubbling coolness everytime. Just awsome!

People are focusing so much on education and children. They found out thru long experience that relationships drenched in innocence and trust put each child on the right path and that this is the only way for him to make  a real difference later on.

But sobriety is not animated by emptiness or lack of pure knowledge and it is not referred to save money or go for the simplest and easiest solutions or ideas.  Sobriety is the attitude of the ones who understand the root of the things and in a second are able to scan with their heart=brain  the story of a life or of a full population in a determined environment. It is also to choose right gifts when we want to give, even fully worth the people we are treating, expensive gifts are so cool when we can afford them! They make people around sober and emotional, wrapped in pure emotions of Joy.

Fast learners get awsome possibilities in this fast world

December 7, 2008 · 4 Comments

ischia

You realize it when you leave in a fast city and your subtle system is healthyly pending on the right side. Doors open and fresh opportunities arise for you. Fast learning is a beautiful gift which usually shows up in children already at tender age. Their eyes are shining and they seem to adapt easily to different people and daily patterns of life.

Positive epidemy of Indian art-forms

May 10, 2008 · 1 Comment

Which I wanted to briefly recollect here based on two trips, one in India and one not far from home in Hong Kong. These are the epidemy we love to hear arent they? These artistical injecton of bubbling lovely effort to raise our awareness and our energy levels. To push them higher towards humble and generous goals. To make them touch the souls of all the people around ourselves so that at least they can get a soft glimpse of ho wparadise laws work out. They work out thru love and compassion, thru dance and action.

You know how much i love dancing already. My mom used to tell me all the times when i was about 7: “daughter i am sorry you were born in Italy cause if you were living in Russia now i would have enrolled you right away in a dance school to work out your talent better”. Never mind i took other paths but dance is always in my heart. In the next post i want you to sniff two secrets of one kind of the indian classical dance which i am studying now. stay alert and move your body on the notes&sounds of heaven.

Developing love is basic reality to educate children

April 8, 2008 · 2 Comments

I spent more than an hour skyping with Clara and Vicky from England yesterday at my office. These two young girls, we were living together in Italy few years ago when I was nanny and their mother was pregnant of the third child. At office I did not have the microphone so could only write down everything and listening to all they were speaking from the other side. The most beautiful chat: little things: stories, laughs, sending funny emoticons, chewing candies and so on. Just in the middle of the busiest time of my schedule at work. Just at the perfect moment for inundating the heart with something strong and sane.

Now the attention towards how the children do spend their time is growing more and more everywhere. They are becoming the centre of our mind. There are plenty of books talking that we have to keep our kids engaged as much as possible to learn, to grow, to absorb in order to develop their skills and talents. This is false actually. I think that orientatively if they can be busy for half of their time with homework and activities they can also do nothing for the other half of the time. I grew up at this way: School, home works and dance class three times a week were all on a fixed schedule for about ten years from 6 to 19. All the left free time was spent to create things with the help of parents or friends. Painting, reading, listening to music, playing an instrument without any instructor, just alone, toys, journals, swimming in the summertime, going for mushrooms, asparaguses or cyclamens and mimosas during spring time, pic-nics, tons of free walks around the town and so on. The love surrounding was soft and spontaneous, just enough to guide explorations and personal growth.

My birthday parties were memorable, sometimes at the central park among rocks and small animals sometimes at the beach, and aunties, mommies and friends were all enjoying at the same time. It has been going for years like that. There were no scheduled activities and we used to run free in the nature or making a volcano or a castle with the sand. Everything was really simple and familiar, the environment comfy and the people smiling. Love was developing on its own natural way… and still is.

Here in Hong Kong my friends-mothers tell that the schools are putting a lot of pressure on the little ones. They have to pass examinations and study hard even at night several times during the week. Plus at least three courses-activities in afternons and/or weekends. I am sure this is not the right path to educate children. I am sure both teachers and educators, parents are lovely and careful. But love and pressure do not combine nicely most of the times, do they? If a child feels he is too often forced to do something, that means he is not comfortable with this rhythm and this situation will be translated sooner or later in another problem. It is obvious. There are other ways to educate which are safer and more adapting to a child inner self. And it is in the inner self where all the talents and the skills already reside!
